Everyone’s skin is different.

We have skin types and colours, and goals, and some habits that are not skin-friendly – all of which the way our skin behaves, reacts or ages. And with endless treatment and skincare  out there, understanding and finding the right plan can be a little bit of a minefield.

If you have mild skin or you’d like to feel more confident in your skin but you’re unsure where to start, a free personalised skin consultation with a specialist practitioner or nurse at sk:n can help you gain a deeper understanding of your skin, and which and skincare programmes will get you to the best skin of your life.

What happens in the skin consultation

Our aim is to find out what you love and don’t love about your skin, if you have any particular skin concerns and what your skin goals are. We combine that information with a full skin and assessment, so we can create the right and skincare plan for you.

During your consultation, we’ll remove makeup or from so we can fully examine your skin, including assessing the texture, thickness and colour which could concerns such as acne or . Your skin will also be under a skin scanner, which can indicate if your skin is healthy, dehydrated, oily, congested or has sun damage. We will take your before photos, so you can see your progress throughout your treatment plan.

We’ll then discuss your daily and monthly and treatment plan to get the best for you and your skin. We may recommend a number of options including peels, or Hydrafacial, and skincare to use at home. Depending on your goals or the severity of your skin concern, we will refer you to a doctor or specialist nurse. And if you are interested in injectables as a to the signs of ageing, we can also refer you to a doctor or nurse prescriber too.

To secure an appointment, we will require a deposit. Your credit or debit card will be your . consultations are free of charge subject to a £25 deposit. In-person consultations are priced at £50. Please refer to our for more .

To secure an appointment, we will require a deposit. Your credit or debit card will be secured against your booking. For or Nurse consultations we take a fully ( to terms) deposit of £25 and £50 for Doctor led . Please refer to our for more information.

Your skin consultation lasts around minutes. This will allow the practitioner to fully assess your skin and your skin goals, your concerns and create a  treatment plan.

The is completely free, but we do a £25 to secure your consultation. You won’t be if you attend your appointment, or you cancel or move your appointment over 48 hours before your in line with our cancellation policy.​

The cost of your and/or skincare plan will be confirmed during your consultation, but treatment can start from £59, depending on your clinic.

Our expert skin practitioners will ask a of questions which are designed to help them create the best plan of action to tackle your skin concern. For example:
